so this past weekend, i went to ryan tsugawa's wedding. it was soo nice. not too sunny out during the ceremony (which was outside, overlooking some water in long beach), but not cold. it was a really nice wedding. :) prime rib for lunch, and i had champagne for the first time! i didn't even have that much, but ako says my face got pretty pink. but as the day went on, i saw that the pinkness in my face didn't go away. no...i was sunburned. we were sitting outside for about half an hour, and in that time, i had managed to get sunburned on my face and shoulders. face part is ok, that peeled a couple days ago. my shoulders are still pretty bad off. and yesterday...i found out that i had boils on my right shoulder! (they're still there too, filled with watery like substance) it basically looks like perspiration except under the skin. it didn't hurt too much. i knew it was a pretty bad burn, but i wasn't expecting skin blisters. ako and randy agreed that the only time they've heard about boils was in the Bible. ...thanks guys. :P but everything seems to be ok. they're smaller today, but seem to get bigger when i sweat. it's kinda gross, but also interesting to look at. :)
after the wedding, ako stayed down for a couple more days. we basically spent the time shopping, watched 'fantastic four', went to my history classes together, worked out (where she passed out...pretty big shock), did more shopping (i got a new wallet, pants, and stationery). she was able to live with me for a couple days, which took some getting used to again. and yesterday randy took us on a tour of Mt. Sac in 100* weather! it was pretty hot to be walking around, but the campus looks pretty nice. then we spent time at an arcade in the area. there was this boxing game that i tried - it was really really fun. :D if i ever become a millionaire and have my own arcade, i want that game. we watched randy play puzzle fighter, and all tried playing ddr. however, since everything was in japanese and we didn't look at the station closer, we didn't see that it just needed 2 tokens to play. we just saw the screen blinking "Credit(5)"...and thought it meant that it needed 5 tokens. ...it was an "s", and the thing just needed 2 tokens. so all in all, we filled the game with 10 tokens. ...smart one. :\ and just came to the conclusion that all three of us suck at ddr. a lot.
it was a fun weekend, but now it's time to get back to the reading and stuff. (except tomorrow's genny's birthday and we're getting pedicures for the first time!! ^^)
today i tried going to the social sciences library to print up my ids reading. my professor said it would be free, and we would be able to print up all of our readings there. but i guess the library has a different stance. i was able to print up some of my readings, but after a while, my computer was shut down. probably because i had printed so many pages. :P it's a bulk of pages anyways, so i have a lot to keep me busy for a while (genny, i kinda bent the pages like when you had printed up the history readings).
